The Front engages and enriches the New Orleans community by providing accessible exposure to exceptional contemporary art with an emphasis on supporting innovative work by emerging artists through exhibition opportunities, a residency experience, and other career building programs. As a member-administered nonprofit organization, we include artists who embody our diverse society, and we pursue singular artistic expression within a non-hierarchical cooperative framework. We artists all join forces to pay rent on the building, but we generally have to fundraise 15k each year for utilities, insurance, and other expenses. By contributing on a recurring basis you can help us to do cooler and cooler things!
